we are excited to welcome a new pastor to join us in writing the next chapter of our ministry, serving as the hands of feet of Christ in our community. We are a progressive, inclusive congregation—a union of PCUSA and UCC with members representing many faith backgrounds—poised for spiritual growth and bold transformation.
Our beloved, historic building serves as both a sanctuary and hub for our active community leadership and many mission partners. We seek a dynamic and skilled leader (and engaged staff manager) to work with lay leadership to envision our future and guide us in reaching out to new generations and those in our community seeking renewed faith. We also look for a pastor who proclaims Christ’s radically inclusive love with intellect and passion.
We are a union church of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ, dedicated to sharing Christ’s radically inclusive love. Our congregation strives to be an inclusive expression of Christ’s body, celebrating diversity and finding our unity in Christ. About Our Committee
Our Pastoral Nominating Committee is a dedicated group of seven members, prayerfully chosen to represent the diverse voices and perspectives of our church family. Together, we are committed to seeking God’s guidance as we search for the leader who will shepherd our congregation with faith, love, and vision. Central to our work is a covenant that reflects our shared values and commitment to honoring each other throughout this journey.
Our covenant highlights key principles such as sharing perspectives openly and respectfully, engaging actively in discussions, and communicating responsibly to ensure every voice is heard. We commit to preparing thoroughly for meetings, fostering meaningful dialogue, and maintaining confidentiality to create a safe and respectful environment. We also strive to embrace sustainability, build community, and honor the diversity of our church. Above all, we seek to enjoy this process, trusting that God is at work among us as we fulfill this sacred calling.
